3 week old - do i still wake to feed?

I have been waking my bf 3 week old every 3 hours to feed during the day (she doesn't sleep in a cot or her bassinette but is quite comfy in a sling ).
She never cries for food as, if in doubt, i'll attempt a feed.
She dropped 5% birth weight but has regained now. so my question is do i still need to wake her for a feed or do i just let her get on with it and set her own pace?
thanks

I personally would do the max 3 hr waking to feed during the daytime and evening but let her tell you at night.

Obv as your doing if she wakes before the 3hrs you offer a feed.

I have also had this confusion. My DD was born four weeks early so I was very obssesed with waking her for feeds. Nine weeks later I still do this in the day, unless she fancies a long nap. This way she will feed a lot in the day and not wake at night...so I only need to give her an 8pm ish feed and one more at midnight and she sleeps the rest.

I woke my dd during the day to feed her during the first few weeks to get my supply up.

Not sure whether that is the 'best' thing to do but she piled on the weight and did really well.
