DD (7.5) months has not taken any milk at the chldminders since she started there.

When she went for settling in sessions she did take some EBM but since my return to work after Easter she has not.

It's early days for us I admit (only 3 full days)
We have tried formula and today more EBM.

She is eating some solids there adn today had a yoghurt.

I know she will take formula from a bottle and it does not have to be me who gives it her.

I feed her in theevening, night and early morning and really wanted mixed feeding to be a success.

I suppose I'm looking for some reassurance.

Does she seem happy enough not having the milk? Maybe she is just content to play and do other things while she is there and will catch up with her need for milk when she sees you. I wouldn't worry too much, if its there and available for her and she doesn't want it just let it be. That's assuming she isn't screaming the place down.

My DD is 11 months old and has been at nursery for 2 months and has never taken a bottle from them. She has water out of a sippy cup there (and no, won't take milk out of that either!) but otherwise makes up for it when she gets home.

My DS (9 months) is doing exactly the same thing. He's had around five half-days and one full day with his childminder and although he took a bottle on the first and second days he then started to refuse it. Same with a cup.

He will happily take it at home (although I am mostly breastfeeding at home). I'm trying not to get stressed about it but it's very hard! He eats loads of solids with her.

Any further progress with your DD peachygirl?

Hi I thought I would do an update. DD was back at the CM today and is still taking very little milk with her.

She is eating two meals including a yoghurt and I think we are going to up this to two.

She has a big feed with me when I get home and night feeds and I am just going to feed her on demand on my days off. I will make up her food-poridge and purees with formula (to get the extra minerals).

Next week I will try to get her weighed and talk to the HV.

Strange as she will take a bottle from me.
