Hi All,

I went today to buy some nursing sleep bras - looking for something very lightweight and ideally not to expensive... I tried mothercare but they were all double layered quite thick material didn't feel comfortable. Just need something to keep breast pads in place.

I have lillypads too but got a rash if I wear them day and night so generally just use them in the day.

Any ideas?

I just wear a normal nursing bra tbh. I think the Emma Jane ones are quite light weight and easily managed.

I always liked the Carriwell ones here

I tried using my daytime bra's but they would give me blocked ducts where the seams put pressure on my breasts. The Carriwell ones are great. They give support but it almost feels like you're not wearing anything.

I just wore a sloggi crop top like this under my PJs and lifted PJ top up and crop top down under my boob to feed in the night (it's really stretchy material).

Easier than fiddling with clips and cheaper than your average nursing bra too.

I like the bravado ones...

I got mine new on ebay for about a tenner each.

I agree with Bicnod. Go stretchy for nights. They're softer and you don't have to fiddle with clips in the dark! I wear a greying old maternity bra at night. The gum from the breastpads ruins them anyway, I find.

I like mamaway's comfy bras, nice material and colours.

A friend of mine recommended and I wear it during the day as well.

thanks all for your comments, have ordered a couple of things also like idea of using normal crop top - will have to see how fiddly it is to get boob out as like to feed in bed lying down....
