What do people think of this?

Possibly be more effective if it had an image of a baby breastfeeding in it?

Bit perplexed about why it doesn't.

Other than that, good message.

I like it except for the end 'why do you stare at them?' Ime, it's not the baby people are staring at

belgo · 25/04/2010 19:19

Very simple but very true . Very rarely do people comment but you can tell what people are thinking by their expression.

belgo · 25/04/2010 19:20

I don't think there needs to be a scene of bfing in it, everyone knows what bfing looks like.

ELCSadvice · 25/04/2010 19:24

Fair enough Belgo, we disagree

justallovertheplace · 25/04/2010 19:24

You'd think so wouldn't you Belgo, but an awful lot of people think breastfeeding involves practically stripping to the waist. The only time I ever recieved a comment about feeding in public I was being incredibly discreet, vest under a pulled up top, no boob or skin on show whatsoever, and it was a lovely old woman who told me what a good thing I was doing for my baby. Most people would have been oblivious

belgo · 25/04/2010 19:26

you're probably right unfortunately, many people probably don't have very realistic expectations of what bfing looks like.

DitaVonCheese · 25/04/2010 19:50

Love the message and the fact the NHS are doing something positive about feeding in public. Don't love the video but don't have anything particular against it.

Quite agree that most people seem to think breastfeeding = flashing! I was involved in an internet debate about public nursing a while back where I failed to convince most posters that mums don't just get comments because they're not being discreet enough

DuelingFanjo · 25/04/2010 19:52

that first baby is well scary, innit

Oops forgot about this
I think the last baby with the scrunched face is very cute.
