I posted a thread here a while ago about my lovely DH and his aversion to bf (for those who read it he was the one who thought bm was like wee!). Today we went to the park and didn't bat an eyelid at me feeding DD in the sling and when I just showed him a baby t-shirt saying I love boobies he just laughed and said 'great can I have 1 too!'. Bless him he's finally getting the hang of things ahhh...

Didn't want your thread to go unanswered.

That's great news about your DH - my DH was FF from day one, as was his sister and she FF all her kids. So BF was a little strange for my DH to get his head round - but he's now a real 'pro-bf' Dad and will stand up to nasty comments we've had from HIS relatives and he quietly praises friends who've BF when they said they wouldn't etc.

He even told the midwife who asked him (behind my back) to give my week old son a FF, when he was losing weight due to a tongue-tie (as yet undiagnosed at that point), politely, that we both wanted to persist with the BF.

Its great when DH's come round and realise what a wonderful thing BF is.

Shame his mother didn't manage the same!!
