dd scoffed at my mothercare/tommee tippee boob shaped bottles when i tried to feed her expressed milk. other mums have told me about breastflow bottles. whats the mn verdict?

These really worked with my DS when at first expressing (DS was happy to interchange between boob and this bottle) and then when I stopped bf at about 9mths. I tried tommee tippee then avent before finding the breastflow ones. I even tried the bottle that's actually shaped like a boob! They're quite expensive though but I have seen them in TK Maxx....didn't look at price - sorry! But must be cheaper than mothercare.

Hello - I have a spare one, unused and still totally sealed in its cellophane wrapper in our cupboard that you can have for postage.

Must admit though the reason it is unused is that the other one in the packet proved to be yet another bottle that my baby would not take to!

Not sure if that will work out financially any cheaper for you though unless you already have CAT to send me your details, but the offer's there.

would you accept paypal? (wowthanks btw!!)

Sure, though not sure how it would work as have only used paypal on the odd occasion! Will try to send it off in the next few days if you let me know where to post it to!

stuckperson · 22/04/2010 20:43

Can sort the paypal thing out afterwards, don't think it should be much to be honest as the bottle's pretty light!

sungirltan · 22/04/2010 20:47

i don't have cat - can i email you?

My DD took the TT CTN bottles fine until 5 weeks old then point blank refused and screamed if we brought a bottle near her. Since then we've tried several types all with no success until in a last ditch attempt to have a night off 3 weeks ago I bought a set of Breastflow bottles from TK Maxx (their £10 for 4 btw) She drank from them straight away, no fussing or moaning just guzzled her milk Now I just need to up my expressing to get enough to fill the bloody thing and leave her for an evening! Good luck with them, I hope they work for you.
