When I stopped feeding ds it took about 3 days for my milk to dry but he was older and only having a feed a day so maybe it will be slightly longer for you but I doubt it will still be there after a week.

I ended up going cold turkey to stop feeding when DS2 was 7 weeks (after 3 klots of mastitis since he was born) as it was the only way I could actually get my boobs to stop producing. It was totally hideous and I was seriously engorged but already had severe mastitis so it oculdn't get any worse. It took a week for my milk to dry up properly, but the first 3 days were the worst. Hope this helps.

I stopped feeding my DD in November when she was 6 mths. Two weeks after i stopped i got Mastitis (which was horrible!)
Evey so often i see if i'm still producing milk. My left one still is and it's now April!!
