DS2 is 5mo and ebf apart from the dream feed at 10pm which is formula.
He's been feeding around 5am but then not taking much at 7am for a while, so night before last he had a few mouthfuls at 5am and I took the chance to just settle him again. He fed well at 7am.

Last night I didn't feed him when he woke and just settled him with his dummy. Whilst he woke a few times, he wasn't crying and settled off ok.
We got up at 7 and I was expecting him to feed. It's now 8:10 and he still hasn't fed - I've offered several times. He's not crying and seems happy enough - chatting away to his brother etc.

Is this ok?? What do I do if he won't take a feed? At what point do I worry? Don't want to get any more too frantic or he'll pick up on that.

TIA.

I'm pretty sure you're fine, it's only a couple of hours later than usual. You don't need to worry unless he starts acting differently, there's less wet nappies than usual, or there are symptoms of illness.

Not wanting to eat for a couple of hours isn't a drama. He's probably just having a distracted morning.

Thanks, am a bit now as he's fed. Think I presumed that as I'd cut out the middle of the night feed he'd be starving, he normally feeds every 3 hours during the day.

Will put it down to neurotic mother syndrome and get on with my day!

Thanks for responding though
