How do you decide when to switch completely from formula to cow's milk?

Dd3 will be 1 on Sunday. She has been rather late weaning but is now eating most things - she went from purees straight to stuff which is just cut up.

For a few weeks she hasn't seemed to be enjoying her formula at all. Today I gave her some cow's milk and that seemed to go down better.

Do you think it would be ok to replace all her formula bottles with cow's milk now?

PS - I would prefer her to have a cup now but she's not having any of it - another thread!

TIA

Fine, just swap across.

we swapped at a year but ds1 became really constipatede and unhappy. so we went back to formula and then just switched one bottle a week or something. can't remember really, but we did a slow switch-over

i think we might have made up some bottles with half formula and half cows m ilk

IIRC we just switched straight over.

We luckily had no trouble switching to cups by 6m (I was obsessed about switching over!) - using Boots bottle-to-cup trainer bottles, they have a different teat. maybe your DD is too old for it to work, but may be worth a try? I looked for them on the Boots website to post a link but no luck.

Thanks for replies - my older dds were bf so it was different. She doesn't seem to enjoy formula any more. MathsMummy - thanks for you advice I was going to asking if there were any bottle to cup things - worth a try I guess.
