Anyone a major breastfeeding expert?

My 9 week old dd is feeding well, she's currently gaining just over a pound a fortnight, so im really chuffed with that, im ONLY breastfeeding - no formula top ups or anything, but in the last few days maybe around a week now, she has started to seriously wriggle and cry half way through a feed, she kicks and punches vigerously, pulls herself off the breast and yells, she seems angry/frustrated/upset, i know its not supply as i have quite a good supply, ive switched sides and she does the same within a couple of minutes. I eventually stick her dummy in and she calms down, have done this 10 mins ago and she has gone to sleep all calm again. Any ideas whats annoying her??? Ive no clue.....

Oh thanks hanaflower! just for the comfort - cant believe i never thought of that! duh! lol Im working with a minimal functioning brain at the mo! And i feel my let-down prob is quite fast at times for her, how does feeding her upright work? howv do i position her? She is still pretty wobbly

I'd say wind. Am not a major bfing expert though!! Both mine did/do exactly this, and with a bit of wriggling/patting on back/usual winding manoeuvres, out comes a generous burp...
Would explain the dummy solution too, sucking hard on the dummy seems to help settle tummies.

No expert here and this is possibly a silly question - but what do you mean by 'half way through a feed'? Maybe she's just had enough and finished and cross because you try to make her continue? She's gaining well, you say you have a good supply etc, maybe shes just an efficient feeder and doesn't need very long? All 3 of mine became v quick feeders by about 2 months old (approx 10 mins each side every 3 - 3.5 hrs)

Oh! thanks Nelly! Thats also something i never thought of!! She could well be full and im busy sticking her back on, lol poor dd! Well when i say half way through i mean she generally feeds for around half an hour (give or take) and she usually starts her 'battle' around 20 mins in.... she did it again a coupple of hours ago, ive noticed its only on my left side.
