I am about to start combination feeding as I am going to back to work in a couple of months, and I want to get DD (4 months) used to taking milk from a bottle.

To start with I am trying to feed her EBM from a bottle but she is refusing it. I am using Avent bottles with the 3mth teat, can anyone recommend any which she might take instead?

I mixed fed using nuk latex teats.

for some reason my babies preferred latex to silicone teats to start with.

Dr Browns were good for DS - stopped a lot of gas as well..but he was never a very teat fussy baby as I stopped b'feeding around 6weeks anyway

I've been thru a few brands lately, trying to get best fix forr DD, here is my experience,,,

Dr Brown - you can;t shake, as will leak, so tricky to travel or mix formula with - don't even start me on how fiddly they are to clean!!

tom-tip - good, just dd didn't like the teat shape - very breast shaped, so might work for you

avent durable - finally one we like!!

trial and error it seems! good luck
