Hi y'all, breastfeeing my 9 month old DD2 has become really painful since her top two teeth came through. Particularly my left boob which permanently has two indentations on the nipple from her teeth. What can I do? It really friggin hurts.

I really don't know, but don't do what I did and yell "OWWWW!" really loudly when your dd bites you or you may end up with a freaked out baby who goes on nursing strike. (Fourteen hours of refusing milk and not yet on solids. Was not fun.) Apparantly it's quite common.

I've resorted back to lanisoh (sp?) cream again and check positioning each time my dd latches on. It's actually been as painful now as it was when my dd was a newborn.
