DD is almost 10 months and is constantly snacking on breastmilk.
She enjoys solid food but is on and off the boob throughout the day I don't mind but I am a bit worried as I have two events I have to got to soon and she won't settle with anyone else.
She has also started waking at least twice a night when previously she slept through since 8 weeks old .
I love feeding her but I am getting worried about leaving her and also the comments (I know I shouldn't let them bother me) about how clingy she is.

you are describing my dd who only now at 14 months has stopped feeding during the day and who still wakes twice a night (at least) for feeds. If she feels my supply going down (as it does when i have my period) she wants to nurse all (and i mean all) night!

on the one hand i feel that she is actually doing what is best for her both emotionally and physically. She was v clingy at 10 months but is now super independent and secure. She gets colds and coughs but recovers from them b. quickly. In many ways she is an advert for bf a toddler

I on the other hand am a walking zombie! I have not hand more that 3 hours continous sleep for 3 years (ds wakes every night too). I think i am actually too tired to wrest a bit of control back and start night weaning. I just want to sleeep!
