Night time snacking - expert advice needed please

I'd appreciate people's thoughts on my current issue:

DS (10wks, DC3) has taken to snacking during the night and I can't work out if he's waking to feed (but not getting enough to last more than 2hrs as he only feeds for 5mins or so and I can't get to take any more) or feeding because he's awake (and using me as a dummy). He can sleep on his own - he goes to bed at 7pm wide awake and goes off without a murmur and after each night feed usually wakes up when put back in the moses basket and goes to sleep after some grunting. He never falls asleep whilst feeding. Last night I tried giving him a bottle at 10 but he only took 60ml and then woke at 12, 3, 4.30 and 6, going back to sleep each time after a little feed. During the day he feeds at roughly 7.30, 1030, 1.30, 4.30 and 6.30.

Is there anything I can do to improve things? Should I be trying to make him more awake to take more in (seems silly when I want him to sleep)? or trying to get him back to sleep without feeding? I'm not averse to him crying but he's still a bit little for that and I don't want him waking DD1 and DD2. I know he might settle a bit at 12 weeks but that's still 14 nights away and I'm a shadow of my former self and it's really getting me down (espec at 2am)

Forgot to say - he's very windy/farty, using infacol (but not helping much), can't understand how anyone gets a baby to take a spoonful of gripe water in the middle of the nigth so haven't tried that, don't want to co-sleep.

Oh - and he's solely breast fed apart from one bottle at bed time.

Thanks.
