Growth spurt at five months??

Hello all. My baby is five months old, and used to sleep for 8 hour stretches at night from about ten weeks old until this week. Now, baby won't go down until late in the evening (last night 11pm! Despite bath at 7pm and feeding nearly constantly afterward). Baby not unhappy - very smily infact - just not tired. When finally did fall asleep, she woke at 2 am and 6 am to feed. I know a growth spurt is expected around 4 months but 5 months? I don't want to introduce solids yet, but was hoping for some reassurance that this is normal - do I just feed through this? Thank you!

DD's growth spurts never seemed to coincide with when they were supposed to. So long as baby is happy, I would just go with it and feed through it. I'm sure you'll get people in RL suggesting solids though - is the baby showing any other signs of being ready for solids? We started BLW at about 5.5 months as DD was sitting up, grabbing brocolli off our plates and trying to eat it , but assuming your baby isn't showing these signs at 5 months, I would stick to your guns and carry on as you are.
