Off for an easter hol in paris. Has anyone any experience of breastfeeding in Paris in public? What kind of a reception did it get? similar to here? x

yes I did, had no problems. Was discreet (as here) and not sure anybody noticed, tbh. Enjoy your break!

I fed DD (7months) in Paris a while back and didn't notice anyone batting an eye lid. There was a very nice bench outside the Notre Dame, IIRC, with lots of pigeons and people to watch when I got bored of architecture

It's fine. I live here and bf everywhere, including restaurants and never had a problem or anyone giving me dirty looks.

Haven't BF in Paris - but have done in rural France - which might have been worse for attitudes - but it was fine. Am hopefully off to Paris this weekend and will give it a try!

fed all through france on long trip to alps and wasnt aware of any issues - mostly service stations/ car parks but also bars and cafes though - I did throw a massive strop though when the only place open to shelter from the snow was a pub/ bookmakers -we were in between buses and it was a disaster planned day out by OH who got severely shouted at as it was a long horrendous day but luckily I found a restaurant that was ok for me to order a coffee
always had a big scarf handy for cover ups
