discoloured breast milk - is this normal?

This morning, i woke to a leaky patch on the white bedsheets, as DS slept much longer than anticipated (no bra on as he has been waking every 2hours!). It has a brown/yellow tinge to it which is darkening as it dries. In the past it has been clear.

Is this ok? Should I mention to the gp (am seeing her today as DS is going anyway).

Forgot to say

Breasts are fine, no cracks or lumps or pain. It is not discharge that is causing the discolouration so far as I can tell.

yellow is fine, my hind milk was a deep yellow, and sometimes on my breastpads it would dry around the edges as brown, so i wouldn't worry.
you tend to get a bigger supply of hind milk after a few weeks.

if your not reassured, i would call the HV just to put your mind at rest.

Thank you. DS is now 16 wks and has just spend a few days upping my milk supply before sleeping for an uber growth spurt so i am guessing i would have increased hind milk after the increase?

Thanks for the reassurance. There are no other symptoms that are concerning me.
