Ironic?

This always amuses me slightly. Now Google has updated their street view I can share it. Look what is slap bang on the side of the venue of my nearest breastfeeding support group.

Unfortunately you can't do links to specific street views, so if you go to maps.google.co.uk and type this into the search box: "64 Clemens St, Leamington Spa, England, United Kingdom" and then drag the little man right onto the pin that drops into the map, and scroll around until you are facing the sure start centre you will see it.

LOL nestle milk! How funny That is ironic Bertie

chuckle that's funny. Thanks for telling me they'd updated their maps though - I'm on one! Go to '77 Montpellier Terrace, Cheltenham, England, United Kingdom' and I'm walking along the road in an orange t-shirt and skirt, going to visit DD in SCBU.

I'm feeling really daft, but what am I looking for!?

teaandcakeplease · 12/03/2010 22:24

I had to rotate picture round to see the surestart centre but the sign is on the wall by it

Basically, it's the sure start children's centre (where the breastfeeding support group is held) and on the side is a huge, old advert for Nestle's Milk. When I say old, I mean it is evidently Victorian or similar, it's just painted onto the side of the building - a lovely bit of history, but ironic for a venue of a breastfeeding support group considering the Nestle boycott etc!

Oh, that's funny! I love those old painted ads that you still see on the sides of old shops. Probably antique enough not to subliminally influence your group, though!
