that is not good for my ravaged pelvic floor.

Babieseverywhere · 12/03/2010 10:52

I like the fact the link on her article doesn't work either, just goes to a generic search type page.

Yep whoever did that link missed out a dot

This is the site she obviously meant to link to. But having read a bit of that site...

BertieBotts · 12/03/2010 14:08

Oops I was obviously rendered so speechless at the content of the website that I forgot to link it properly.

I really do not like that woman. Just the look of her makes me feel a bit angry.

weegiemum · 12/03/2010 15:27

Just how stupid does she think mothers are?

Brollyflower · 12/03/2010 16:33

Yeah, fab company, as this BMJ article shows .

DaisymooSteiner · 12/03/2010 16:35

Yes, and Annebel Karmel hasn't had any work done.

faddle · 13/03/2010 13:39

gosh, did anyone see that pig fly past the window just now?

Actually, that has just confirmed my suspicions, Annabel Karmel is full of shit.

ProcessYellowC · 13/03/2010 14:27

Annabel also provides helpful breastfeeding advice:

"However, when you breastfeed it is important to enjoy a wide variety of nutritious foods every day. Keeping up a good milk supply is not only dependent on you eating and drinking well, you also need to look after yourself and take some rest, especially if your baby is keeping your up at night."

INRB - She thinks all us mothers are very well "educated" if I remember back correctly to panorama. That's why her products didn't show their salt content as clearly as the programme makers said they should.

BertieBotts · 13/03/2010 22:29

Lol that she thinks mothers are "educated" - I don't remember her thinking that in the radio interview she did with Gill Rapley regarding BLW, she was terribly worried that all these little darlings would choke on lychee stones. Lychees being a well-known first food, of course, for those careless BLW parents

EllsBelle · 14/03/2010 10:28

We're just getting ready to wean dd. Must add lychees to my shopping list.

StrikeUpTheBand · 14/03/2010 12:31

I console myself with the fact that she wouldn't be going on about lychee stones etc if she wasn't worried about what the growing popularity of BLW would do to her bank balance
