As it says in the title, my daughter has started biting my nipple when she is feeding on occasion, and it is SORE. Can anyone advise on how to stop her doing this? She is 7 months.

Thanks!

My 2 DCs used to get a look in their eye before hand and I'd unlatch them as fast as I could with my little finger when it happened. My first child brought me to tears and I shouted once in agony, which then made her cry too. It is hard, but they both stopped doing it after a short while.

The kellymom website is fairly helpful on advice.

It is just a stage as you've probably heard, it will get better again.

No doubt another MN will have some tips for you soon x
