Is their a time scale for a breastfeed baby being introuced to a bottle of expressed or formula?? Is there a point at which they might reject a bottle??

Some babies have to be bottle fed from birth - so there is no 'too soon' - a hungry baby is unlikely to reject a bottle (but might reject a boob if they like the bottle better).

Thanks.....think I'll stop worrying then and keep boobing!

Some breastfed babies go on "bottle strike" and refuse to take a bottle from about 4 months - it doesn't seem to make a difference whether they are used to taking one or not, so not worth stressing about. Just keep breastfeeding, introduce a bottle when you need/want to leave her, but don't stress about doing it "just in case" - there are other methods of getting milk into a baby in a worst case scenario anyway!
