I stopped sterlising about 5 minutes after I got home. Just cleaned them well in hot soapy water.

My DD was EBF till 6mo and I've never sterilised a bottle or boiled and cooled water... She is very healthy!

You can feed tap water as a drink from 6 months, formula needs to be made up with hot water until you stop using formula.

Sterilising - I wouldn't bother if you are making the milk up fresh and using it all straight away. If not then I would sterilise until about a year, or until you go onto cow's milk (as again presumably you will be putting it into the bottle and feeding straight away)

At about six months I started sterilising everything about once a week instead of every use.
