If he is awake, he is not remotely interested. He has really lessened length/frequency of feeds, quite suddenly Does teething affect bfing because i think he is? He is 5 months .

Yes, teething can strongly affect BFing. The gums can get quite sore and the pressure of feeding can put them off quite badly. If it only goes on for a day or two and he seems ok in other ways, don't worry too much. If it goes on much longer or if he has other symptoms, you might want to get him checked.

DS started being really distractible when feeding around 5 months so to make sure he got a good feed I started feeding him as he dozed off for his nap, both of us lying on the bed - sometimes both of us having a little snooze. Soo not what you're supposed to do according to the books but really nice (only works if it's your first though I guess!).
