Growth spurts at 4 weeks

I think my 4 week old dd is going through a growth spurt. She is feeding a lot and isnt satisfied when she has finished. She didnt sleep much last night.

Today she hasnt slept at all except for 2 half hour naps and has now been asleep since 5pm.

I gave her 2oz of formula this afternoon because I was at my wits end (I have a 20mo dd).

Normally dd is breast fed exclusively. What do you do when your lo has a growth spurt? Do you just feed them all day?

Yes, 'fraid so..just feed, feed, feed! It's exhausting but shouldn't last long.
Have you got anyone that can help look after you 20 mo old just to give you a break?

yep, feed feed feed. it shouldn't last too long, but it's important to do the feeding so that your supply adjusts to what she needs
