Hi I have a healthy 2 week old baby who I have been giving expressed milk while my hideously ulcerated nipples heal. my question is how much should he be taking? he has been taking nearly 100ml 2-3 hourly. is this too much?????

Sounds fine to me - that's about 3.5 ounces a time and 2 to 3 hours round the clock is totally normal at this age. You're doing brilliantly to be pumping for him to keep up, I really hope you heal quickly too

Just wanted to say when my son was in hospital the babies were on 180-200ml per kilo per day, don't know if it helps.
