Has anyone ever added formula to yogurt?

I know this sounds a bit crazy but I have a baby that has always refused bottles/cups with expressed milk or formula, which has been fine until I started back at work. He's now 8.5 months and just down to the morning and evening feed, but I'd love to drop the evening feed as it's such a struggle to get home in time and it would be great if my dh could feed him.

he's blw and has been having yogurt and some whole cow's milk on cereal since 6 months now, while i've been breastfeeding on demand. weird that he refuses all milk varieties but guzzles yogurt! i've got a very practical hv who suggested dropping the last feed and just giving him yogurt instead but i wondered if anyone had tried adding formula to yogurt? he's not so keen on red meats and lentils and I worry it might be a struggle to get enough iron into him.

does anyone else have this problem with complete formula/expressed milk refusal?

How about vitamin drops with iron - your HV should be able to recommend a brand. Has to be easier and less messy than mixing formula with yoghurt!
