nursing bras/breast size?

I am 8.5 months and realised I need a few nursing bras. As I am a first timer, I was just wondering if my breasts will get any bigger or smaller, as I cant decide on what size bras to get.

Experienced ladies...
I know they get big the first few days, but after that, how did your breasts get in the first 6 months?

Do I need more room in the nursing bra or should I take what fits now?

i would wait, personally.

i was fitted at rigby and peller when i had my second child and they said the best time is when baby is at least 4 weeks old so your breasts have settled down a bit!

so i would wait until you're almost due/just had baby, then buy some cheap ones just to see you through. THEN get fitted somewhere properly for long-term bras

I am normally a 32C, last month or so of pregnancy/first month of bf I was a 34D but then settled down to a 32DD and now after nearly 11mths of bf I'm about a 32D. I agree with thisisyesterday - wait a few weeks afterwards to get properly fitted. I found that my chest size (although cup size didn't) decreased as my womb contracted so bras I'd been wearing were then too loose if that makes sense.

I was guided by Bravissimo, who suggested that I get 2 new bras early in pregnancy and then another 2 fortnight before my due date, then more when I feel a little more settled. They were really good at suggesting sizes based on what normally happens. Bravissimo only cater for D cup and above, but you can always phone them for advice. As it happened, my bust never changed size, but the bras I bought from them still fitted well.
