Contraceptive Implant and Breastfeeding?

As far as I am aware the implant is essentially the same as the progesterone only pill which is safe for breastfeeding. Has anyone experienced any issues with the implant and breastfeeding (or been told that it is not suitable)?

Got the Mirena implant when my dd was around 7 months old (think). Still continued to breastfeed until last year when she was three!!

No problems really. Good thing was after quite bad bleeding for a few weeks after the implant it stopped for at least a year.
