what changes at a year?

ok ds is nearly a year old and i know we are meant to move away from bottles at this age.

what else?

can i move to cows milk for a drink?
does he need toddler milk instead?
how much milk?
how often/ many feeds a day?

i'd ask my hv but she's poop!

Toddler milk is a 'need' created by advertising. Cow's milk and solids are fine if you're not breastfeeding (or in addition to breastfeeding). I can't remember how much though. Someone will know .

i think it's something like between 400-600ml at this stage, but some babies won't have that much milk, so yogurt, cheese etc. can supplement for the calcium. cow's milk fine as long as the baby is having a varied diet.
