Getting more from one boob when expressing - Normal?

I started expressing this week and am getting less then an ounze a time - Just got one and a half ounzes though!

DD is now 3 weeks old and feeds really well.

Just now I expressed from my right boob first because I didnt think I was getting much from it. I got a tiny amount and then got an ounze and a half from my left one.

Is this normal? DD feeds for the same amount of time on each boob so she seems to get enough from it.

It was for me; I have one uber-boob and one shrivled poor-relation boob.

It probably is absolutely fine if your DD is getting enough at the actual breast.

My right boob is the 'uber-boob' (I'm stealing that cranky, I love it!)

Left one struggles to keep up.

I try to encourage leftie as though it's a competition 'C'mon, just a little more, you can do this, you can beat rightie this time!'

I think my record is 5oz from just right one. Leftie has never produced more than 3.5oz in one go.

Lol at competitive boobs!

Thanks both! My left boob is my 'uber boob'!!

Although, I just got over an ounze from my right! I expressed between feeds instead of straight after and got over 2 ounzes before stopping

Good to know I am normal (or as normal as can be!!)
