My DS is almost 6 months, I'm BFing and introducing a little bit of solids (on the advice of hospital). We've only been BFing 'full time' since he finally came home from hospital three weeks ago and it's been going well. But suddenly one of my nipples is really painful on feeding, to the point it makes me yelp! It gets a little better after the first latch on but painful all through feeds and on pumping (less so on pumping). Pain feels as if it's sort of inside the niplle but doesn't spread into breast. No sign of thrush in my DS but I'm not sure what else it can be? Any ideas/experience?
