Leaky boob

DD is 13 days and is BFing well. My right breast however is misbehaving and constantly leaking milk - I go through loads of pads every day. Today I have soaked 8 washable pads, my bra and the new nursing top I bought yesterday .
It's even worse when I am feeding on the other side - it sprays independently and I end up soaking DD, myself and anything around us. I tried collecting some on the last feed and must have collected abot 30ml in about 20 seconds. DD favours the other breast and I am beginning to wonder if the flow on my right boob is just so fast that she cannot control it - she fusses and pulls off it when I try to feed but manages to latch on after about 6-7 attempts.

Any advice ?

Try these lilypadz. I thought I did not leak second tme round, these were so good. They hold the nipple in so nipple is not full, therefore no leaks. Also stops them getting sore as they don't rub. I could go on for hours...

It sounds as though it might be a bit beyond this - if so sorry! - But I have always been able to stop leaking as soon as it started by just holding the heel of my hand on my nipple for 2-3 seconds. I read it in a book somewhere. Worth a try?
