Going out and expressing question

I'm going out for the evening for the first time next Tuesday since having 7m DD (woo hoo!) .

I'm going to have to leave before DD's bedtime so DH is going to feed her bottle of ebm and has done this a couple of times recently so we hope (please!) that she'll be OK because I'm not going to be close by.

Will I have to express somehow while I'm out, say around DD's normal feed time, or will I have to do it when I get home? She won't wake up until after 3am, when I will feed her as normal (and am not going to be sloshed anyway!)

TIA.

Big yipees on the first night out.

I ebf DS who is nearly 8 months. I never seem to need to express when I go out, I sometimes just hand express a bit off when I get home if I am getting uncomfortable. You can always do that if you find you need to.

Have a great time!

If you've been bf-ing for that long, you shouldn't need to express at all. Agree with bellamysbride.

That's great, thanks . Didn't really want to have to schlep off to the loos with a pump...!
