as title says, over the last couple of weeks the letdown has been taking forever to put in an apperance! my poor 18wo baby girl is getting so angry and has started scratching at my breasts screaming so much that when the let down does happen she ends up choking on the milk!
were both getting really frustrated with it and i have no idea why this is happening as everything else is fine once the milk is there she is happy and full within 10-15 mins all is then calm for 3 or so hours

so ladies, any suggestions would be greatly appretiated as its drivin us both nuts

I remember having this problem for a while, and just rode it out and then the let-down seemed to happen more quickly. Not very useful advice - sorry!

My experience of breastfeeding as that just as you get to the end of your tether with a particular problem and are on the verge of giving up - it seems to rectify itself...

thank you, i think its just nice to know that others are going through it or have gone through it too, and that its not the end ofthe world or my breast feeding career
