Just realised I have EBM in the freezer from last year and I am not sure how long you can keep it in the freezer.

Thank you very much in advance.

I've read that your milk changes as your baby grows, to suit their changing needs, so I wouldn't keep it too long

If you're producing excess quantities you could donate some to special care babies in the hospital I believe...

Up to 6 months in a really cold freezer i.e. chest freezer. I would say around 3-4 months in normal freezer. Yes the milk changes but it's still perfectly ok for your older baby.

I thought 6 months in chest freezer. Saying that I defrosted some the other day from Sept (so just over 4 months old) and my son kept pulling a face on every sip on smelling it smelt awful so chucked it.
