My ds is 10 weeks old and started off a great sleeper, first 3 weeks we thought 'woohoo, we got a sleeper!!' as my 3yr old ds has really never slept well.
Anyway, 3 weeks old he suddenly started to get very bad wind and not be able to lie flat comfortably. He has never liked lying down and always sleeps on me. The only way I can get him to lie down at night is to prop him on a v pillow and i sleep right next to him. dp relegated to the spare room for the last 9 weeks!!
I have read about this silent reflux and have got some infant gaviscon but just wondered if anyone else has this prob where the baby just refuses to lie flat otherwise they get really uncomfortable indigestion? Also, he will not go to sleep before 11pm, he is beside himself but just won't sleep for any length of time.
He is exclusively breast fed so i thought less likely to suffer these problems.
3 yr old ds never had this, he just burped and went back to sleep. This one can still be burping 2hrs after a feed and still not settled by the next feed.
Do they just grow out of it?
