didn't want to put poo in the thread title!

DD is EBF and poos at least 3 times per day

we usually have at least one up to the shoulders and down to the knees poo

her poos are basically liquid - always have been

can't see "seeds"

they are also 90% green and stringy - not soft and yellow

does this mean anything?

HV seems to think it is because she is windy but i know the colour of the poo can somtimes indicate other issues

so, any advice/reassurance would be appreciated

TIA

My little one when BF had very very nasty poo's. It varied depending on what I'd eaten too.

If you are worried though, I think you should book an appointment at GP. At the end of the day, it's a baby and I think it's far better for you to be told there's nothing wrong, than sit at home worrying. The GP won't think you've wasted their time

Sorry to state the obvious, maybe some other Mums netter will come along though with a better plan/ idea x

Mine had this for the last few weeks - diagnosed as a viral infection that cleaned out his gut so then he had to repopulate it with 'good' bacteria. He didn't have any infection any more as they tested the samples, but it took him a good two weeks to get over the green poo. Keep feeding was the only advice I got - but definitely worth taking to the doctor for a check-up and maybe get them to test some of the poo to reassure you. There are lots of nasty viruses around at this time of year... but they get over it!
