ibuprofen, breastfeeding and reflux

Hi - I know it's pretty safe to take ibuprofen whilst breastfeeding, but does anyone have any experience of their baby subsequently being very unsettled, windy and refluxy? (as this has happened to me this evening).

I know there may be a link as i have been told by various doctors not to give my ds baby neurofen or calprofen and ibuprofen can make reflux symptoms worse (which I forgot when taking ibuprofen today for a headache).

Just trying to find the cause of his screaming tonight. thanks.

Ibuprofen does pass into breastmilk in small amounts, if it seems your baby is unsettled after taking it, I would stick to paracetamol.
