tricks or tips to get a 10 week old to accept a bottle

I know I've left it late!! This is my second and I was really enjoying the breastfeeding so it's a little my fault, but also because there always seemed to be a reason not to upset the status quo - colds, coughs, projectile vomit etc...

Anyway, I will need to go back to work at some point and am also looking for a new job and will possibly need to go to interviews in the next months.... it would also be nice to be able to pop out without dd knowing that if worst comes to the worst (ie she gets hungry and I'm not back) then some expressed milk will be there instead of me.

But she won't take the bottle and can wind herself up a bit trying. Today I've switched to trying with water on the HV advise, as it was getting a bit demoralising expressing milk just to throw it away...

Anyone any ideas?

Warming milk up by standing bottle in warm water. Different teats (if you've got the patience to keep trying) TT Closer to Nature worked best for me. Keep trying - my ds sometimes would and sometimes wouldn't. Also managed to get some ebm in him by taking the teat off and holding open bottle to his mouth(though this did make him a bit windy).

Thanks Rosebud. using TT and warming milk to no much avail at mo. HV mentioned about the cup type option but not confident to let my mother in law loose on that one - I think it may be more trouble than it's worth!!!
