Is my toddler weaning ?

My toddler, who has only missed one day of nursing over the last 3.5 years and that was when I was in hospital labouring with her younger brother, seems to be weaning !!!

Last night after her night time feed. She sat up told me she didn't like milk anymore and she wasn't going to have it anymore. Considering she does spend time trying to negotiate more milk feeds, this is totally out of the blue.

Then this morning again she didn't ask for milk and watched me nurse her brother.

I am feeling a little wobbly, happy that she seems to be self weaning, wondering if this is really the end or will she change her mind at bedtime when she is tired.

It has also occurred to me that it might be the milk taste has changed (I'm 3 months pregnant) not that I can alter that.

I am not sure why I am posting this, just noting a possible end of an era for my big girl and me.

OK, not weaning totally. She is now asking for milk again.

Wonder how things will go over the next 6 months ?
