Teas

Are there any nice teas available in the UK that promote milk production?

Either online or at the shops. I like herbal teas and with DS just switched to having one that had blessed thistle/fenugreek etc in it as my daily cup.

Has to taste nice!

Fennel is tasty and helps your milk. As does Rasberry leaf but it doesn't taste as nice. Twinings do a fennel and peppermint blend.
I took fenugreek tablets as I didn't like the tea.

www.napiers.net is an Edinburgh-based herbailst - they do a "nursing" tea blend which includes peppermint, fennel, raspberry leave and about 3 other things. It's quite expensive but I think it works. It's got a mild peppermint flavour and I mix a bit of honey into it. They recommend you take 2 or 3 cups a day.

peppermint acts as an antigalactagogue. Does it really have it in it?
Not accusing you of lying obviously but would wonder why if it is.

Peppermint oil does inhibit milk production, but I imagine a tea with just a touch in it must be seen as too little to affect production, but tasty/calming enough to warrant it's use maybe?
