DS is 18 days old and was being breastfed with the addition of 1 bottle at night to fill him up. For the last 2 days we have cut out the bottle of formula and im flying solo feeding him.

He normaly has 1/2 pooey nappies per day but since 9pm last night he's had 4, 2 of which were full and 2 that were about half full.Is it normal for that to happen now ive cut out formula? Hes always gassy and was inconsolable this morning so is it a sign of colic, im conscious i had ice cream last night and from reading the internet that could be affecting my milk?

Ive also managed to pass on my cold to him so is this going to affect his nappies?

Sorry for all the questions but as a first time mum i dont want to overreact or think its normal when actually he needs to get checked.

If you think he's got a cold, then take him to the doctor as he's still very small.

having the cold will affect his nappies ime.

Also ff babies do less poo, so all breastmilk might produce a few extra.

Sounds like you are doing a great job feeding him.

Don't think you need to worry.
