Not for me for my friend!
Her dd is 4 weeks old. Would she be ok to have 2 glasses of wine? I said she would, no need to 'pump' after. Is that ok? I can't remember what I did but I think I was having a glass or 2 - not getting drunk - when ds was that age.
TIA

Yes, I would have 2 glasses and feed. Can't remember the actual statistics about how much gets into your milk but its not very much. Sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon!

I'm on my 2nd right now. DS will be expecting a dream feed a about 11ish - no problem!

yes it is same concentration in milk as blood (for breath tests) so pretty weak, not like being pg. no point in pumping, it doesn't linger in the milk but in the body so once it has worn off in general then fine to feed.

i have always drunk and bf, but only as much alcohol as is sensible when looking after a small baby.

Thanks Greensnail! I just had a moment of worrying I had advised her to do something she shouldn't (just because I had...)
