Clarithromycin and BF

I am ill with a chest infection and EBF my 8 week old baby. GP has prescribed clarithromycin and said that baby's poos may get a bit runny but will not really affect him. Well, his poos are not runny but they appear to hurt him and they are (sorry TMI) much thicker and curdier and they STINK. Shall I just finish the course and hope it doesn't upset him too much or get them changed?
Also, he only woke twice last night and didn't have big feeds. While this is great for my sleep, is slightly worrying that his nappy was only as wet as it is usually after 3hours not 12. Am I overreacting?

I always found when breast feeding that antibiotics upset my baby . But for you to get better you need to finish the course.

You could try changing them, maybe

I'd be tempted to push on through and finish them and roll with this time with your baby with lots of cuddles etc.
