Expressing for 10pm feed and supply issues

I've started to give a ebm feed at 10pm - means DH can feed, I can go out and also DS2 can be dream fed easier with a bottle.
Every night before feeding I pump the following night's feed.

My question is - am I messing with my supply by doing this? I've been told that the stimulation from the pump is not as strong as baby feeding. Should I be doing this every night?

Thanks.

I used to express after the first feed in the morning, when I had plenty of milk available, I'd express off the required amount for the final feed that night and put it in the fridge.

I'm not sure you should express before feeding though. See what others say???

As long as you usually BF your baby though and only express occasionally, your supply should be fine if you're eating and drinking plenty and resting etc.

If you do the same thing every day, your supply will stay the same. However sometimes the pump is not as efficient and you have to pump more than once to get a whole feed's worth. Most people find pumping in the morning more successful.
