Contemplating stopping BFing at 1 year - what next?

I don't mean in terms a hobby - but what to give DS. Do I go for formula with all the extra vitamins that (supposedly) has or straight to cow's milk?

I just went straight to cow's milk - DS eats like a horse and gets a good healthy diet so I assumed his nutritional needs would be catered for. Plus, formula made him horribly constipated.

As for hobbies, I recommend needlepoint

Go straight to cows milk, the extra vitamins formula is a marketing con

I stopped with both dds at one, cup of cows' milk and off they both went (only one and a half years later dd2 still fondles my boobs in times of stress). Enjoy

Thanks for that. He already has lots of cow's milk on cereal so hoping it won't be too much of a transition.

I have LOVED BFing him after a very difficult start (tongue-tie) but feel that I'm ready to move on now and I will confess the idea of ditching feeding bras and wearing anything I like without considering 'access' is appealing. I could even wear a dress....
