Going away advice

I have an 11 month old atm who is BF. Doesn't take a bottle at all, will drink water from a cup and sometimes expressed milk when I'm at work (TBH I don't know why I bother expressing but I do).

In May I'm supposed to go away for a 3 day meeting (will not be able to directly feed at any point in that time unless I take baby, DH, and DD with me). I was planning to feed until 18 months minimum, but I'm worried this would wreak my supply.

If I can express 5oz am and pm would this be enough to maintain supply?

I could take the whole family (on the quiet-ish) but would rather not as it looks a bit unprofessional (I did it for my DD but she was under a year and everyone was very understanding, not sure this time).

Any suggestions, will expressing be enough? Any horror stories? Already getting worried, bad enough to leave the children for 3 days but even worse if it forces me to give up BF

I travelled a lot when DS was still feeding (fed him till 23 months), and as long as you express really well morning and evening (and if possible as soon as you get back to your room after the meeting then just before bed), plus a few expresses down the loo during the day just to relieve pressure, you'll be fine.

IMO, the important thing is removing the milk really well - double pumping, breast compressions, and then hand expressing at the end

I probably would have the opportunity to express in the day. I only get about 5 oz from both combined though so my worry is that this wouldn't be enough. Perhaps I could express more often? Argh what a bind I was hoping to cast off my pump at a year
