Expressed milk - how long to store for?

I keep reading conflicting advice re expressed milk

DD is being looked after by MIL for a few hours on Saturday. Have expressed today and it is in the fridge

My question is should i freeze it, or keep it in the fridge - anywhere from 3 - 8 days seems to be the advice

also, if i express more tomorrow, can i add to the stuff i expressed today or should i keep it seperately?

TIA

kellymom.com is the best place to look.

It really depends how cold your fridge is. Up to a week is usually ok if kept at the back. Yes you can add to it but I usually let the new batch cool to room temp or cooler before adding it to the old batch.
