Hi

Not been in here before so a bit of info first perhaps. My DS is 12wks old - he is FF and is thriving. He has been sleeping through the night since 7 weeks. He sleeps from about 10pm until about 7.30am but sometimes longer.

During the day he eats well, approx every 3 -3.5hrs he has 7oz or so.

I was just concerned that as he is sleeping for as long as he does and therefore missing out on 1 to 2 feeds (he used to wake at 2am and 5am) whether he is getting enough to eat ?

He is on Aptamil. He won't eat more during the day - should I be giving him a "Hungry" milk to make up for the missing feeds ?

'Hungry' milk has no more calories than 'standard' infant formula, Stannie...sounds from what you say that he's doing ok and a change of milk just isn't needed

Tiktok - thanks! I will leave him as he is so - was just a bit panicky that I might getting it wrong and he would not be getting enough.

What is the difference between Hungry milk and standard milk - I assumed more calories but am new at this whole baby thing so haven't a clue really!

hungry milk has the same calories but is more casein dominant which makes it harder to digest. This (in theory) is supposed to help them go longer between feeds which could make your lo cut down on calories if they take milk less often.
