DS2 is 9 weeks and BF. For past 2 days his poo has been smelling strongly of fish and is very liquid. Seems ok otherwise - anyone know what this is?

Have you eaten fish?
As long as it is still runnyish and yellow/browny/ orange I wouldn't think there was a problem but have to admit I haven't ever noticed this with mine but I have had garlicy ones after eating garlic etc

Yes mine had this. I never worked it out. I remember googling 'baby's poo smells like fish' and not finding anything to enlighten me! This is before I knew about MN.

He was fine though.

Ha - Sugar I have already tried googling too! Not been eating fish which is why it seemed odd.

DD gets fishy poo and wee when she eats fish. Any fish does it: fishfingers, tuna, prawns, smoked salmon, caviar etc. I have usually forgotten that she has it, then am surprised! Are you sure you haven't had anything fishy?

NB she doesn't get caviar very often, just when snaffled from event buffets.

Hmm interesting. Def not had any fish (picky eater) it is not as strong now. Wonder if it was some type of bug?
